Safety Officer – MODU

 WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

We seek highly motivated and enthusiastic offshore Safety Officers who: 

  • Proactively ensure safe operations. 
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude. 
  • Possess excellent communication and cooperation skills.
  • Have the ability to teach and motivate others. 

KEY DUTIES 

  • Assist in the daily QHSE activities. 
  • Support in the preparation and revisions of procedures, documents, and instructions. 
  • Lead local incident investigations. 
  • Verify compliance with safety rules, procedures, instructions, and safety tools. 
  • Systematically follow up non-conformances, incident reports and deficiencies related to QHSE. 
  • Maintain the offshore Competence Management System. 
  • Provide training in the use PPE. 
  • Facilitate risk assessments and MOC processes offshore. 


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Higher education (MSc, BSc or equivalent)  
  • Documented solid experience within QHSE work on MODUs.  
  • Fluent written/oral in Norwegian and English language 
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems 
  • Good knowledge of QHSE regulations and standards on NCS 
  • Basic Offshore Safety course and Offshore health certificate
