We are looking for a passionate and skilled Marine Engineer/Naval Architect to come and join our Technical Services Marine team. You will be at the heart of our marine operations, supporting our fleet of cutting-edge semi-submersible drilling rigs as we push the boundaries of performance in harsh environments.

- Participate in planning and execution of complex rig moves and offshore marine operations.
- Monitor and optimise stability, hydrodynamics, and naval architecture across our fleet.

Qualification and Experience:
- Higher technical education (MSc, BSc or equivalent) within Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering.
- Good conceptual understanding of rig design and knowledge of applicable norms, rules, and regulations.
- Preferred experience with hydrodynamic analysis and programming (minimum proficiency in Python preferred).
- Preferred experience with analysis software.
- Preferred experience from PowerBI and Python Dash is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of marine operations, including DP-operation, mooring and drilling operations.
- Proficiency in both oral and written English and Norwegian.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute efficient rig moves and support drilling operations on DP or position mooring systems.
- Develop location-specific operational procedures and guidance based on established procedures and analysis results.
- Contribute to the development of the marine discipline practices, including work methods and in-house tools.
- Collaborate on multidisciplinary projects, offering marine expertise and operational input.
- Continuously improve and refine operational procedures to enhance safety and efficiency.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with rig operations, business development teams, clients, and suppliers.
- Participate in offshore project work as required.
