Maintenance Technics

Maintenance Technics ensures that Maintenance principles are fully reflected in the execution of projects.

Maintenance Philosophy
Maintenance Technics develops maintenance philosophies that will provide the requirements needed for a reliable, safe and maintainable design, with optimized life cycle cost.
The philosophies are tailor-made to suit applicable rules and regulations, classification requirements and customers own requirements. The established philosophy will provide the basis input/requirements needed for an operable design.

Information Management
Information Management is R&R, tasks and system specific. The maintenance system is normally customer specific and customer is involved in the development from the beginning. To ensure an optimized solution, it is essential to define the information process, requirements and data format prior to detailed design.

Maintenance Analysis
"Increase HSE, regularity and reduce cost at the same time".

Maintenance analyses are performed to identify and implement consideration for risk mitigation in maintenance management. The scope of the analyses is to consider systems/equipment functional relations and potential consequences related to function failures within safety-, environment issues, operations regularity and /or repair cots. The outcome of the analyses is used by decision makers to prioritize, state strategy and assign assosiated maintenance routines for the system/equipment, with an overall aim to increase regularity, reduce maintenance costs, and secure the highest HSE standards.

Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
"Long-term maintenance to reduce cost and increase benefits".

Develop physical maintenance hierarchy for CMMS. Evaluate manufacturer and supplier maintenance information, implement result from maintenance and logistics analyses. Develop and implement maintenance, jobs and scheduling.

Continuous Improvement within Maintenance Management
Maintenance management systems are dynamic; modifications, configuration changes and user feedback necessitate updates and improvements to the CMMS. Maintenance Technics collects and evaluates user feed-back, update the system based on modifications and configuration changes, perform optimization within maintenance and maintenance management system and train CMMS users in practical use of the system. We also ensure that the operational experiences “flow” back to your engineering department for their considerations up against any new building / modification activities.

Supply Chain Management
Maintenance technics offer storage recommendations, storage availability and cost and synergistic storage effect. Spare part data is identified and collected. Spare part recommendations are developed and results from maintenance analyses are implemented.

Safety Barriers Maintenance
Maintenance technics evaluate system safety requirements, technical safety and performs risk assessments. Barriers against major incidents are identified, and given particular focus during development of maintenance and setting of priority.

Test and Verification
Maintenance technics performs internal verification and testing (where applicable) of all deliveries, to ensure a product quality in line with, or exeeding customers expectations. In the case of maintenance management systems, customer is encouraged to participate in verifying and testing the system prior to final delivery. This is to ensure that the system is in accordance with the requirements and additionally, it allows for corrections and modifications to be implemented prior to final system delivery.
