Operations for Statoil

Odfjell Drilling is currently operating six platforms for Statoil. An Onshore Support Centre was established in April 2008 and provides integrated operations support to Snorre A, Snorre B and Sleipner A. Snorre B was the first platform to utilize integrated operations in Odfjell Drilling's Onshore Support Centres in 2007.

Sleipner
Odfjell Drilling has been on contract on Sleipner since August 1990.
The Sleipner A is a fixed installation and has 28 well slots. The water depth is 82 meters. The Sleipner field is a gas production field located in block 15/9, approximately 240 km west of Stavanger, Norway. The field has been in production since 1993.

Visund
Odfjell Drilling has been on contract on Visund since September 1997.
The Visund platform is a floating drilling and production unit. The water depth is 335 meters and 16 anchors keep the Visund platform in place. The Visund field is an oil field and is located in block 34/8, approximately 150 km northwest of Bergen, Norway. The field has been on production since 1998.

Snorre A
Odfjell Drilling has been on contract on Snorre A since autumn 2004. 
The Snorre A is a steel-hulled tension leg platform, and the integrated production, drilling and living quarter unit is anchored to the seabed by tethers. The water depth is 305 meters. The Snorre field is an oil and gas field and is located in block 34/4 and 34/7 approximately 150 km west of Florø, Norway. The Snorre A has been on production since 1992.

Snorre B
Odfjell Drilling has been on contract on Snorre B since autumn 2004. 
The Snorre B is a semi-submersible integrated production, drilling and living quarter platform. The water depth is 350 meters. The Snorre field is an oil and gas field and is located in block 34/4 and 34/7, approximately 150 km west of Florø, Norway. The Snorre B has been on production since 2001.

Heidrun
Odfjell Drilling has been on contract on the Heidrun field since November 2004. 
The Heidrun platform is a floating tension leg platform with a concrete hull. The water depth is 350 meters. A total of 76 wells are planned on the main field; 51 oil producers, 24 water injectors and 1 gas injector. The Heidrun field is located in block 6507/8 and 6707/7, approximately 270 km northwest of Trondheim, Norway.  The Heidrun field has been on production since 1995.

Grane
Odfjell Drilling has been on contract on Grane since 2001. Grane is an integrated production-, drilling- and living quarter platform on a steel jacket.  The water depth is 126 meters. The Grane field is an oil production field and the Grane installation has 40 well slots.   The Grane platform is located in the North Sea on block 25/11, 180km west of Karmøy, Norway.  The Grane field has been on production since 2003.
