Executive Vice President OD&T – Øyvind Chr. Rohn
Mr. Rohn holds a Master of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College and an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He previously held the position of EVP Business support in the Odfjell Drilling group, before becoming responsible for the Well Services business area in 2006. Prior to joining Odfjell Drilling's management team in 2002, he had ten years experience from various positions in Statoil.
Vice President QM & HSE – Marianne L. Hafsås
Mrs. Hafsås holds a Master of Management from Norwegian Business School (BI) and a Bachelor degree within teaching. She has more than 22 years of experience as manager within international sales and marketing, international onshore support bases, QHSE and training, from companies as FMC Technologies, Selantic AS and DnV. Marianne L. Hafsås has been with Odfjell Drilling since 2007.
Vice President Technology & Business Improvement – Arild Austigard
Mr. Austigard holds a Master of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering from University of Stavanger, from 1993. After seven years in various positions in Statoil, he joined Odfjell Well Services (OWS) in 2000. He held different leading positions in OWS, lastly as General Manager, before joining Odfjell Drilling Technology in 2006.
Vice President Operation & Projects Norway – Øystein Mjelde
Mr. Mjelde has more than 25 years of experience from drilling operations in Odfjell Drilling and education from Technical Institute in Stavanger. He has worked 15 years offshore on floating and fixed platforms. Mjelde has been Operations Manager on Heidrun and Songa Trym (Deepsea Trym).
Vice President Operation & Projects UK – Ole F. Maier
Mr. Maier holds a Bachelor degree in engineering and finance/administration from Vestfold University College (Horten ingeniørskole). He joined Odfjell Drilling in 2002 after various positions offshore for Transocean and Deutag Norge Drilling. In 2005 he started onshore as a Rig Manager. Since 2010 he has been responsible for our Platform Operations in UK.
Vice President Engineering & Projects – Asbjørn Jacobsen
Mr. Jacobsen holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian Institute of Technology from 1995. The following years he did mechanical engineering and project management within the automotive and offshore industries. Jacobsen has six years of experience as a Managing Director of an engineering company focusing on Well Intervention and Drilling. Following a merger with ODIM he acted as Technical Manager for two years until he joined OD&T in 2009 as Area Manager Stavanger.
Vice President MODU Projects – Kurt M. Fjell
Mr. Fjell holds a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bergen University College and has further studied both for project management professional (PMP) and leadership. He has been working in Odfjell Drilling since 2002 in the engineering division, mainly focusing on the mobile offshore drilling units. Before he entered the offshore industry he worked five years as a project engineer at a shipyard, designing and building advanced seismic and research vessels.
Vice President Financial Control – Gry Quam
Mrs. Quam started her career in Odfjell Drilling in 1998 as financial responsible for the mobile units. She was appointed as Financial Manager for the engineering division in 2002. She holds a Bachelor in finance from NHH. She has previous six years of work experience as an auditor within Deloitte AS. In addition she has two years experience as section leader from the accounting company ØkonomiPartner AS.
Vice President HR – Anita Walker
Ms. Anita Walker holds a Bachelor degree in Finance and Administration from University of Agder (at the time ADH), and has two Master courses, one in “Management” and one in “Internal Auditing and Administrative Quality Assurance”. Anita Walker joined Odfjell Drilling Group of companies in 2006. She has 20 years experience from the shipping industry (an international company with head office in Norway) where she held the position of VP Human Resources Europe, Regional Executive Accounting Europe and previously other positions.
Vice President SCM & IT – Ian Malcolmson
Mr. Malcolmson joined OD&T in 2008. He came from Aibel where he held the position as Vice President with global responsibility for supply chain management. Following completion of his education in Scotland, Mr. Malcolmson joined McDermott International where he had responsibility for logistics for pipe lay and heavy lift operations. Moving to Norway in 1985 he joined Phillips Petroleum Co where he spent 15 years working within procurement and logistics on various engineering projects both for modifications and new platform projects. Following Phillips Petroleum Co Mr. Malcolmson joined ABB Offshore which later became Aibel.
Vice President PMT – Ernst Hestnes
Mr. Hestnes has a B.eng (Honours) in Offshore Engineering from University of Newcastle upon Tyne. He has been working for Odfjell Drilling since 1998 within engineering and project management. Over the past years he has been responsible for the Odfjell Drilling new build programme comprising; Mod-V B Jack-Ups KFELS in Singapore, GVA 7500 Semi Submersibles DSME in Korea and GUSTO 10.000 Drillships Hyundai in Korea.
Sales & Marketing Manager – Jan Richard Andersen
Mr. Andersen has his education from the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy – Executive branch, which was followed by eight years of sea service in the Navy. For a period of eight years after this he had various positions in the offshore drilling industry and DnV, mainly within risk management, quality & safety management and business counselling. He joined OD&T in 1998 as Engineering Manager.
Tender & Contract Manager – Christian Skjelbred
Mr. Skjelbred is pursuing a Master of Management at NTNU and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Lutheran University and Kansai Gaidai University (Japan). He has extensive experience as manager within business development. Prior to joining OD&T in 2008, he held the position as CEO for Nexibygg. Skjelbred was recognized on Ledertalentene 09 – a ranking of the top 100 leader talents below 40 years of age in Norway.
