On Monday the 14.12.09 at 12 o’clock Odfjell Drilling took over the operation of five BP production platforms in UK.
This was the conclusion of a well planned but very hectic transition period of only six weeks.
Two of the platforms, Magnus and Harding is both in drilling mode while Clair is undergoing a five year overhaul. The Andrew and Bruce platform have maintenance work carried out at the time being.
In the office everything was in place for the new colleagues coming from KCAD and SeaWell. A new Onshore Support Centre is in place and is ready to put into use. It is from now on we have to show what Odfjell Drilling can accomplish in an operating mode.
