Monday 14th of June the official steel cutting ceremony for the second drillship Deepsea Metro II took place in Ulsan, South Korea. This is a great milestone for the project team and for Odfjell Drilling.
Deepsea Metro Drillship No 2 Hull 2229, reached the next key milestone on the project with the official steel cutting ceremony Monday 14th June.
The steel cutting ceremony symbols the start of the actual fabrication of the vessel. The drill ships Deepsea Metro I & II will be delivered from Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) in 2011.
