Statoil has chosen to exercise options in existing contracts with Odfjell Drilling for production drilling and maintenance services.
The platforms Snorre A, Snorre B, Visund and Heidrun will have their contracts extended for two years from 30th of September 2010 to the 30th of September 2012. Grane’s contract is extended by two years from the 1st of December 2010 to the 1st of December 2012.
“Statoil has declared the options well ahead of the deadline and this can be seen as a clear signal that they are satisfied with Odfjell Drilling’s deliveries. However, we know we can continually improve and provide an even better service for Statoil. This will be our aim in the coming years”, says CEO Odfjell Drilling Ketil Lenning.
