PETRAD visits Odfjell Drilling

Odfjell Drilling had the pleasure of welcoming PETRAD to our office in Bergen, Norway. 49 participants from 39 different countries joined PETRAD's program and visited Odfjell Drilling.

The presentation during their visit at Odfjell Drilling focused on typical challenges experienced in the drilling industry, further detailing aspects related to rig market fundamentals, cost factors and technology and development.

PETRAD is a non-profit Norwegian government foundation, established in 1989 to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experience related to petroleum management and administration.

Its aim is to be an efficient tool for Norway's international cooperation in the petroleum sector, and to contribute to the internationalisation of its oil and gas industry.

As part of the Norwegian contribution to development aid and internationalisation, Petrad's programmes provide an in-depth look at the way Norway has managed its petroleum resources in a safe, sustainable and environment-friendly manner since the late 1960s.
These programmes involve the whole Norwegian petroleum industry and related government agencies, and give access to their total knowledge and experience.
