Odfjell Drilling has been awarded a contract extension with Talisman Energy UK (Limited) for platform drilling and engineering for a fixed period of two years and three options of one year.
–We have developed a close and constructive relationship with Talisman Energy UK both within drilling and engineering since 2003. HSE performance has been exceptionally good and is an important contributing factor behind Talisman's decision to extend the contract. Odfjell Drilling is of course very pleased to receive this recognition from our customer, says CEO of Odfjell Drilling Simen Lieungh.
Increased drilling activities in 2011In January 2011 Talisman will start up drilling again on the Claymore platform and this represents a boost to our activity. In 2012 drilling is scheduled to start on the Auk platform following the installation of a complete new drilling module.
