Today 20th of December Odfjell Drilling and The Norwegian Red Cross signed a three year cooperation agreement. Odfjell Drilling will support the “International emergency aid and disaster prevention” project.“Odfjell Drilling has chosen this project because of the strong link to the company’s concepts of emergencies preparedness and the environment globally. This aid goes to the heart of the Red Cross’ work, contributing helping those who need it most”, says SVP QHSE and CSR responsible in Odfjell Drilling Mrs. Janike A. Myre.The goal is expertise sharing Odfjell Drilling is growing internationally and the need for information about new areas are valuable. Through its knowledge of local conditions, the Red Cross can contribute a great deal in this regard. The goal of the collaboration is to achieve an exchange of expertise between the two organisations. “The Red Cross is delighted to enter into collaboration with Odfjell Drilling. “We have seen a marked increase in the number of natural disasters in recent years, and more and more people need humanitarian aid.
