Odfjell Drilling has been awarded a Letter of Intent from Statoil as operator on behalf of several licensees for the utilization of the semi-submersible "Deepsea Bergen" for development drilling and exploration in the Halten Nordland area on the NCS. The Letter of Intent is subject to partner approval.
The contract value is USD 350 million.
