Greater Ekofisk Area contract extended

Conoco Phillips Scandinavia AS has exercised an option to extend the contract for drilling and maintenance services in the Greater Ekofisk Area. Odfjell Drilling has carried out maintenance, drilling, completion and abandonment activities in the Greater Ekofisk Area since 1995.

The contract extension has a duration of 3 years from 1.1.2006. The contract value is estimated to NOK 1 billion.

This contract secures employment for 400 Odfjell Drilling employees.
